My wife and I recently leased two VW’s (GTI & Rabbit) from your Miramar VW for our 16 year old twins and we wanted to share our experience... Cory helped us through the entire process and was not only a great salesperson; he spent time with our kids explaining the features and benefits of each of the cars to them. His “no pressure” style was quite refreshing and he always delivered on what he committed to. He is extremely knowledgeable about the VW product and was a true pro through the entire process, making our experience leasing these cars a joy. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with my experience at Miramar Volkswagen. Sarah Ewing, my sales rep, stayed in touch with me as I visited the dealership several times, over a 2-week period, while researching which new car would work best for me. Once I had made my decision on the Jetta, she and the finance dept. worked hard to get it to me at a price that would fit my budget. Over the past couple of weeks, I never felt pressured to make a decision to “buy now”, as I have at other dealerships. Yesterday, as I drove away in my beautiful, new 2009 metallic blue Jetta, I felt good that I had what I wanted at an affordable price…and it was so painless.

We continue to do really well and enjoy our new car. Here is our blurb of our experience buying the car.
While getting my oil changed on my 2002 Golf, I was complaining to Mike at Miramar VW service department, that my husband and I needed a more fuel efficient alternative for our Ford F150. Our sixty-mile roundtrip commute to work each day was killing us at the gas pump. Mike told me about the 2009 TDI Jetta and boasted about its clean diesel technology that outperformed many hybrids. Great mpg and good for the environment - what's not to love?

After we returned from our summer vacation we decided that we needed to replace the truck with a with better fuel economy. But we didn't want to sacrifice an appealing design that matched our busy lifestyle and growing family. That's when we went to Miramar VW to test drive the 2009 Jetta TDI.
We were immediately impressed by the MPG on the window sticker and by the TDI's power on the road. We liked the Sportswagen design and were convinced that we didn't have to sacrifice style or comfort to get the fuel economy we wanted. We put in the order for a new Jetta Sportswagen TDI in early August.
The next few months we continued to search online for updates and reviews. Everything we discovered was positive. The VW TDI received a great review in Westways Magazine, which put its highway MPG at over 44. And the excitement kept on building when it was awarded "Green Car of the Year" at the LA Auto Show. Although the release date was pushed back a bit, the TDI was clearly worth the wait.
We've now had our VW TDI Sportswagen for two weeks and we've already driven it over 600 miles and are only on our second tank of gas. We've taken it to all four corners of San Diego County in rain and shine, traffic and open highway. This car gives us all the space we need, and as working artists we need a lot, and it fits our budget. We got a green car discount on our loan and will receive $1,300 tax credit from the IRS!
One of the things we love most is showing our friends and family that this isn't your Dad's loud and stinky diesel. The new VW TDI may be "Green Car of the Year," but we think it's the car of tomorrow as well.

P.S. We realize the value of the Free Oil Changes for Life program at Miramar and love that too!

Buying the car of my dreams was all that I could have expected. I was hesitant and nervous as this was my first big purchase alone. But Sarah Ewing, as well as other employees at Miramar VW, were outstanding! As an employee of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, money certainly was something that held me back, but Sarah was there to answer my questions and present me with a variety of options.

As for my New Beetle Convertible, I love that it's a convertible, I love that it's MINE, and I love that it is a VW! Who wouldn't?! Coming from New Jersey, I would have to say my favorite place to drive is California! I'm in the perfect state and one of my favorites now! I just have to walk out my door and get in the car. Driving is super enjoyable!”

Dear Scott,

Last Friday I had my car keys re-computerized. While there, John checked on one of my re-calls that I hadn’t taken care of. He went out of his way to be specific and informative about what was going to happen with my car, how long it would take and the fee. Earlier that day, Ingrid helped me on the telephone. Both of these people treated me like I was the only service call of the day. This is unusual. Normally I go to another VW dealer, but I will return to your service department in the future. Today, I also got a follow up call regarding the service and it was from a real human being. What a delight!!

Thank you for treating me like I was a person, rather than a number. We remember these things and tell our friends.
